Puzzle have collated some of the prime examples of how not to use Twitter.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1477645690247{padding-bottom: 30px !important;}”]Social plays a big part within celebrities and personalities, many people get it right – engaging with their fans and followers, sharing their insights and allowing members of the public to idolise and follow their lives with intent. Much as there’s a right way of using social, there’s also a wrong way of doing it. Here at Puzzle we’ve collated some of the biggest Twitter blunders made by footballers… In no particular order…[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1477645747265{padding-bottom: 30px !important;}”]We get the feeling he doesn’t tweet too much himself…

Last weekend saw Nigerian striker, Victor Anichebe, who plies his trade in the North with Sunderland make an awful blunder on Twitter…[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1118″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=””][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1477645764139{padding-top: 30px !important;padding-bottom: 30px !important;}”]Benteke’s auto-correct goes haywire…

Not too long ago, Belgium international and ex-Liverpool player signed for Crystal Palace, but that’s not what many of his Twitter followers believed… He later issued an apology, stating he’d actually signed with Palace.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1119″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=”” css=”.vc_custom_1477645788766{padding-top: 30px !important;padding-bottom: 30px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Marvin Morgan definitely isn’t a fan favourite…

In 2011, Aldershot Town striker obviously didn’t have his finest of performances in a 2-1 defeat to Hereford. He was subsequently booed off the pitch by the Aldershot faithful and took business into his own hands…

“Like to thank the fans who booed me off the pitch. Wheres that going to get you! Hope you all die.”

The line was obviously crossed, and then came the end of his Aldershot days. The player was placed on the transfer list and ordered to pay a substantial fine for misconduct and was banned from the football club for two weeks.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1477646030489{padding-top: 30px !important;}”]Punctuation is Key

Footballers aren’t known for being wordsmiths… But Danny Gabbidon had a bit of a howler with his punctuation in 2009.

“Sorry you had to witness that last night West Ham fans need to start showing the dedication that you have & things might start to improve!x”

He later responded….

“Wow! i have caused a stir today havent i? My punctuation is awful please put a comma after fans and you will see the true message sorry x”[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1477646046306{padding-top: 30px !important;}”]Ryan Babel wasn’t too pleased with Howard Webb’s performance…

Former Liverpool defender, Ryan Babel made some pretty wild accusations towards Howard Webb’s refereeing after Liverpool lost 1-0 to Manchester United… I think the picture speaks for itself…[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1120″ img_size=”full” qode_css_animation=”” css=”.vc_custom_1477646052407{padding-top: 20px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
