Our First Messenger Bot – The Children’s Society
Today, we launched our first Messenger Bot with the well-known charity, The Children’s Society.
The bot has been built predominantly to help supporters who have signed up to events but is also for those who want to get involved in fundraising for the organisation. It answers questions about upcoming events, such as what the fundraising target is and around training support, as well as providing information about the charity, enables changes to consent preferences and even tells the odd joke too!
The Children’s Society are a charity that work directly with vulnerable children and young people while campaigning to improve the lives of millions more. They’re constantly looking to rewrite the rulebook for supporter engagement and see digital as a key part of their approach. This bot gives them a great opportunity to start to test that out.
