Westfield Christmas
Santa’s Snowflake Grotto has arrived at Westfield and we were delighted to be able to sprinkle some of our tech magic over this wonderful, immersive experience for kids and adults alike.
Westfield (on behalf of Santa of course) approached us to design and build an iPad game for their Christmas grotto.
The narrative behind the game is that each snowflake in the North Pole is individual and represents a child. By looking at the snowflake, Santa instantly recognises the child it represents and what they would like for Christmas!
The children start by entering their name. They then answer four simple, animated questions; which is your favourite snow globe, bauble, snowman and elf. Afterwards, they throw snowballs at the snow factory to generate their personalised snowflake.
Whilst the game is being played, a real-life elf is carving the child’s name into a white wooden snowflake, ready for them to take home.
Santa’s Snowflake Grotto can be found at both London locations of Westfield until Christmas Eve, so don’t miss out on a magical Christmas experience for you and your little elves.
