Challenge
Virgin is one of the UK’s biggest and best exports. There’s pretty much no sector that Virgin isn’t Active in. Virgin Red is its reward club, allowing people to earn points to unlock rewards across the Virgin family and at tonnes of big brands.
Leveraging the masterbrand but creating their own recognisable identity was at the core of this creative challenge.
Solution
A submersive, wondrous world of Virgin Red was needed to showcase both the brand and the breadth of rewards. A little bit of luxury, a whole lot of high-end and a bespoke build held the answer.
Leaning into the idea of a VIP members club, we designed and built a versatile studio space in our London office. Cleverly designing the set to create multiple scenarios meant we were able to deliver elements of magic and make the ordinary extraordinary. Importantly, it also meant we could overdeliver on the assets required for Virgin Red’s socials.
Everything from a wall of rewards with secret cupboards revealing clouds, a rainforest, baubles and more, to a jukebox of rewards and Virgin Red chess-set were brought to life in detail.
Results
Using a variety of eclectic backdrops, sneaky set-design and clever crops meant we were able to deliver:
- Captivating content that cut-through and stopped people scrolling
- 30% additional assets vs original brief, both static and video
- A bespoke studio with endless opportunities for ongoing content creation
- Specific and evergreen assets for use across Virgin Red platforms.
